Product purpose:

It provides detailed background information on the Teacher Workforce Data tables published by the Department of Education & Youth on the Central Statistics Office’s (CSO) PX Stat Open Data platform. These tables are based on data from the DEY and ETB’s payroll systems, and the Teaching Council registration datasets. They provide data on teacher workforce counts in Irish schools funded by the state.
